Welcome to Connected Educator Month!

This is the page where you will find all the activities / challenges and resources to have a fantastic time during Connected Educator Month 2014 which runs during October. If you've been with us on the Reflective Teacher Blogging Challenge for September, it's fantastic to have you here!

Our goal for Connected Educator Month is to continue to create a strong, collaborative TeachThought online community which is owned by all of us so please feel free to add discussions, resources, etc and tell your colleagues about what we're doing so that they can also join in and connect.

REFLECTIVE TEACHER BLOGGING CHALLENGE

In the past few days we've had requests from people asking if they can complete the September challenge in October as part of Connected Educator Month as they've just found it. Of course you can! We'd love to have you here. Just click on the link below to find the prompts and the link to the Google Doc. If you sign up on there it means that we can make sure we follow and comment on your blogs. There have been some powerful connections made and discussions had from the blogs over the past month!

BOOK REVIEWS FOR PROFESSIONAL READING books.gif

We would like to have a minimum of one book review to support professional learning each week. Beth and I will start it off, but we'd love contributions from our community too. If you have a book you'd like to review and share, you can either add it directly to the Professional Reading page - you'll need to be a member of this wiki first - or you could send us the review and we'll happily publish it for you.
Guidelines for reviews are on the Professional Reading page of this wiki.

Many of you voted for this as one of the activities you would like to work on and share during Connected Educator Month. Please check out the Genius Hour page on this wiki and feel free to add / recommend any resources. There will be an area for discussing and sharing your resources with others in our community too.
